StrongBox was founded in 1985 to meet the need for weather and vandal resistant metallic enclosures. In 1991, StrongBox joined V.I.T. Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of tree support products, to provide the highest level of quality products and services in the landscape and irrigation industry.
Today, StrongBox is a division of MUM Industries, and a leader in Stainless Steel and Aluminum enclosures, specializing in service pedestals, backflow and pump enclosures, electrical enclosures, and cabinets for DOT applications. Our main office and factory is located in Escondido, California (San Diego County) with representation throughout the United States and Canada.
