SBBC-40ALHPI

The SBBC-40ALHPI is an insulated marine grade aluminum enclosure measuring 41 inches wide, 39 inches high, and 24 inches deep. It features a center split design allowing the enclosure sides to swing out, giving full access to the backflow system for testing. This vandal and weather resistant enclosure features a solid sheet construction and stainless steel latching rod with padlock provisions. Includes a wind-blocking rubber skirt and Polar Bearier bag that provides an R30 insulation rating and protects the backflow from frost and moisture.

CONSTRUCTION

This backflow enclosure is a vandal and weather resistant enclosure formed entirely of marine grade 5052-H32 aluminum alloy, with a wall thickness of 1/8 inch. The main housing is a solid sheet construction. The mounting base plates are secured into wet concrete or anchor bolts a minimum of 2 inches deep into cured concrete. The center split design allows enclosure sides to swing out, pivoting on the mounting hardware at each end. The full release locking mechanism is a stainless steel cross bar that includes provisions for a padlock. Polar Bearier bags provide an R-30 insulation rating using Radiant Barrier Foil (RBF) inserted between acrylic polyester and air bubble pack.
