BC-75CR

The BC-75CR is an expanded metal backflow cage measuring 75 inches wide, 42 inches high, and 30 inches deep. Number 9 flattened expanded metal is powder coated with a green polyester TGIC coating for added corrosion resistance and to prevent handling injury. Two piece construction with easy lift handles allows the cage to lift up and pivot on the mounting feet, giving full access to the backflow system. A concealed, pad lockable tab is located on the top of the cage. Open diamond-patterned panels provide minimal surface area for graffiti and vandalism.

CONSTRUCTION

This backflow cage is a vandal and weather resistant enclosure formed from expanded metal. The cage is powder coated with a polyester TGIC coating having a minimum thickness of 2.5 mils. The cage includes a bracket-mounted hinge that is carriage bolted on one end to allow for exposure of the backflow, with a pad-lockable tab on the other end. The mounting brackets at the base of the cage are to be submerged into concrete a minimum of 2 inches, positioning the enclosure 1-1/2 inches above the surface for drainage purposes. Handles are attached to the sides to allow for raising and lowering of the cage.
